The Provincial Court of Cantabria sits in four divisions with 14 judges, three of them specialised, all in the capital.

Companies and the commercial registry

Cantabria has its own commercial registry, the Registro Mercantil y de Bienes Muebles de Santander, at Castelar, 35. Incorporating, changing directors or winding up a company is filed there.

No es un SMAC dependiente de la Direccion General de Trabajo: el Gobierno de Cantabria remite al ORECLA la conciliacion previa individual. Demanda o papeleta de conciliacion ante el ORECLA dentro de los 20 dias habiles siguientes al despido (sin contar sabados, domingos ni festivos). Se presenta en el registro del ORECLA, C/ Pasaje de Pena 4, 3a planta (Santander), o por correo electronico a registro@orecla.com, registro operativo 24 horas. El ORECLA cita despues a las partes en un plazo muy breve para intentar el acuerdo por medio de mediadores
