The Provincial Court of Salamanca has a single division, with six judges, which hears civil and criminal appeals alike.

Companies and the commercial registry

Salamanca has no separate commercial registry: it is merged into the Registro Salamanca Nº 02 y Mercantil y de Bienes Muebles de Salamanca, at C/ Santa Brígida, 8, which also handles land registration.

Before suing over a dismissal you must attempt conciliation, and in Salamanca that is done at the SMAC, Servicio de Mediacion, Conciliacion y Arbitraje (via administrativa), y SERLA, Servicio Regional de Relaciones Laborales de Castilla y Leon (via autonoma sustitutiva), run by the El SMAC lo gestionan y resuelven las Oficinas Territoriales de Trabajo de la Consejeria de Industria, Comercio y Empleo de la Junta de Castilla y Leon, una por provincia (Avila, Burgos, Leon, Palencia, Salamanca, Segovia, Soria, Valladolid y Zamora). El SERLA es el sistema no judicial de solucion de conflictos creado por el Acuerdo Interprofesional sobre Procedimientos de Solucion Autonoma de Conflictos Laborales de Castilla y Leon (ASACL), suscrito por CECALE, CCOO Castilla y Leon y UGT Castilla y Leon, con financiacion de la Junta de Castilla y Leon. Papeleta de conciliacion (remision de la papeleta de demanda para el intento de conciliacion previa a la via judicial) ante la Oficina Territorial de Trabajo de la provincia. Presencial en las oficinas de asistencia en materia de registros de la Junta de Castilla y Leon o en los lugares del art. 16.4 de la Ley 39/2015, o telematicamente por la sede electronica de la Junta (tramitacastillayleon.jcyl.es) identificandose con certificado electronico, DNIe o Cl@ve Firma. Alternativa: escrito de solicitud de conciliacion-mediacion individual ante el SERLA, que segun el ASACL tiene la consideracion de conciliacion previa a la via judicial y es requisito preprocesal sustitutivo
