Grant for becoming self-employed: your region's start-up subsidy
Grant for becoming self-employed: your region's start-up subsidy is filed with Servicio público de empleo o consejería competente en trabajo autónomo de su comunidad autónoma. With Managora you do it 100% online: you answer a few questions, sign a digital mandato (power of representation) and we draft, sign and file your application for you. What we charge you: from €199.
We apply for the grant your Comunidad Autónoma pays when you register as self-employed, separate from the national tarifa plana (flat rate): up to 6.200 € in the Comunidad de Madrid, 6.000 to 9.900 € in Región de Murcia, from 3.500 € in the Basque Country, 4.200 to 7.000 € in Aragón, 2.000 to 5.000 € in Navarra, and 35 % of the investment, or more depending on the municipality, in La Rioja. BEFORE charging you we check that your region has an open call and that you are still within your personal deadline, which is one to three months from registration and is what loses people the grant. We prepare the application, the business description and the statement of costs with your invoices, and file it for you where the electronic office accepts a representative; where it requires you to sign, we leave everything ready and guide you through it.

Legal basis and things to bear in mind
- Calls open as at 5 October 2026, checked in each region's electronic office or official gazette: Comunidad de Madrid (grants for unemployed people setting up on their own account, permanently open), Región de Murcia (SEF grant for self-employment, permanently open), Basque Country (Lanbide APES, until 30 October 2026), Aragón (INAEM grant for setting up as self-employed, until 30 October 2026), Comunidad Foral de Navarra (until 30 November 2026, for registrations up to 15 November) and La Rioja (ADER first-assets programme, until 11 December 2026 at 14:00). We do not handle the Cantabria start-up grant yet. Andalucía, Galicia, Castilla y León, Canarias, Castilla-La Mancha, Asturias, Extremadura and the Comunitat Valenciana have already closed their 2026 calls.
- The requirement that loses the most grants is the order of steps: almost all require you to be unemployed and registered as a jobseeker BEFORE registering (in the Comunidad de Madrid, for at least one day in the previous 15; in Aragón, for the previous 2 months, with exceptions). After that, the personal deadline runs: one month in Aragón and Navarra, two in Región de Murcia and three in the Comunidad de Madrid.
- The Comunidad de Madrid pays 80 % of justified costs excluding VAT, with a minimum spend of 1.000 €: up to 2.800 € of running costs (3.400 € for under-30s, unemployed women, over-45s, the long-term unemployed, victims of gender-based violence or terrorism and people with a disability) and up to 2.800 € of investments, that is up to 5.600 € or 6.200 € in total. Its rules include advisers' fees and the costs of a gestoría for the start-up among eligible costs. Payments must be made by transfer or card between 3 months before and 2 months after starting.
- Compatibility: the national tarifa plana is a reduction in your Seguridad Social contribution requested when you register, and Región de Murcia expressly declares its grant compatible with it. In the Comunidad de Madrid this grant is compatible with the Tarifa Cero as long as the total does not exceed the cost of the activity. In Región de Murcia it is NOT compatible with the Cuota Cero: you have to choose one. In the Basque Country it is not compatible with other self-employment grants, except Lanbide's consolidation grant and capitalisation of unemployment benefit.
- Obligations after payment: keep your registration and activity for 2 years in the Comunidad de Madrid, Región de Murcia and the Basque Country, and 18 months in Navarra. If you deregister earlier, you must repay the grant in full or in part.
- Grants are awarded in order of complete applications until the budget runs out: filing early and complete matters. Navarra has already warned that its budget may run short before 30 November 2026.
- Representation: in the Basque Country, Aragón and La Rioja we file as your representative (in the Basque Country, by registering the authority in the Basque Government's Registro electrónico de apoderamientos). In the Comunidad de Madrid the electronic office only accepts a representative with a notarised power of attorney, so you sign with your own electronic signature and we leave everything ready. In Región de Murcia and Navarra there is no evidence that the electronic office accepts a representative, so you sign with your Cl@ve or your certificate and we guide you.
