Managora comparison · updated 26 October 2026

Best gestoría for autónomos in Spain (2026)

Managora, a law firm and gestoría, is the choice for an autónomo who wants a professional to handle everything. We register you with Hacienda and the Seguridad Social, with the reduced rate if you qualify (from €180), and under the self-employed plan (99 € a month, VAT included) we file your Modelo 303, 130 and 390 and your income tax return for you, without asking for your digital certificate; the firm answers formal requests about what we filed. Fees are fixed in writing before we start.

What to look for when choosing

  1. 01

Who files, and with what identification

What matters is whether a professional prepares and files your returns on your behalf, or whether the service leaves the form ready for you to file with your own digital certificate or Cl@ve. At Managora we file: with the Agencia Tributaria as a colaborador social, under your signed mandate, and with the Seguridad Social through the Sistema RED, as your representative.

  2. 02

    Who answers when Hacienda writes

Check whether formal requests are included, who defends you if an inspection is opened and what limits the contract sets: on one platform the service is provided by an external adviser and penalty cover for errors is capped at €5,000 per return. At Managora, requests about what we filed are covered by the plan and, if a tax review or an inspection is opened, our tax lawyers defend you under a separate engagement.

  3. 03

What the fee covers over the year

Compare which returns are included (303, 130, 390, 347 and the income tax return), what limits apply to documents, invoices or income, whether there is a minimum term or advance payment, and what is charged separately, such as registration, deregistration or the income tax return. Check too whether you can order just the registration, one quarterly return or the deregistration without subscribing. At Managora the fee and what it includes are set out in writing in the engagement letter you sign when subscribing.

  4. 04

Your case, not the standard case

Several platforms exclude the Basque Country and Navarre, the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, módulos (objective assessment), anyone with employees, or selling on Amazon and similar marketplaces. Managora handles módulos, EU transactions, withholdings, rented premises and employees; it does not handle IGIC in the Canary Islands, IPSI in Ceuta and Melilla or the quarterly returns filed with the Haciendas Forales. A case that does not fit any procedure in our catalogue starts with a one-hour written consultation with the firm (€200), which ends with a fixed quote.

  5. 05

Language and dealing with a professional

If you work in English, check that support and documents are in English too. Managora works in Spanish and English: the website, service pages, plan and emails in your language; filings with the authorities and the invoice in Spanish; and your case is reviewed and filed by a member of our team, during business hours.

  6. 06

    Registration and deregistration on time

RETA registration is requested before you start and no more than 60 days in advance; if it is requested late, it takes effect from day 1 of the month in which the activity began and the overdue contributions carry a surcharge. The reduced rate is requested in the registration itself, and since 1 August 2026 deregistration must reach the Seguridad Social within 6 calendar days of stopping work (it used to be 3) and Hacienda within one month.

  7. 07

Support schemes with their own deadlines

The second-year extension of the reduced rate is requested before it starts. The Cuota Cero, where your region offers it, has a short personal deadline counted from when you complete the 12 months on the reduced rate: 1 month in Aragón, 2 in Andalusia and the Canary Islands and 3 in the Comunidad de Madrid. It makes sense for whoever handles your registration to track those deadlines too.

Side by side

Who files your Modelo 303 and 130

Whether a professional prepares and files them on your behalf or you file them yourself from an app, and whether your digital certificate or Cl@ve is needed.

  • Managora

A member of our team prepares them and we file them on your behalf with the Agencia Tributaria, as a colaborador social and under your signed mandate; on the plan, none is filed without your approval. We do not ask for your digital certificate or Cl@ve.

  • Ayuda T Pymes

Ayuda T Pymes files once you approve ('we do not file anything of yours with Hacienda without your prior approval'), with a named personal adviser.

  • Declarando

You file the quarterly returns yourself: they are generated 'for you to file directly on the Hacienda website'. On Premium, a tax adviser reviews your books before filing and an adviser files the income tax return.

  • Infoautónomos

'We file your taxes', with a personal adviser who keeps your books.

  • TaxDown

TaxDown files. On the Standard plan you 'do the return with our app and we review it'; on Premium, a tax expert books your invoices.

  • Taxfix (antes TaxScouts)

An independent external adviser assigned by the platform files; Taxfix acts 'solely as a technology intermediary' and, if an adviser's error leads to a penalty, may, at its discretion, advance it up to €5,000 per return.

  • Xolo

From the Local plan, Xolo files the quarterly returns (303, 130, 111, 115 and 349); on the Lite plan you handle them yourself.

When Hacienda writes to you

Whether formal requests are included, who defends you in a tax review or inspection, and what liability limits the contract sets.

  • Managora

Formal requests from the Agencia Tributaria about what we filed are covered by the plan fee, and a lawyer from the firm reviews those you send us, with written guidance. If a tax review, an inspection or penalty proceedings are opened, our tax lawyers defend you under a separate engagement with a fixed quote.

  • Ayuda T Pymes

Lawyers specialising in commercial, tax and employment law; its services include Hacienda requests, appeals to the AEAT and tax inspections. It does not say whether these are in the fee.

  • Declarando

Handling of Hacienda requests on Pro and Premium, and notifications handled by an adviser only on Premium; an 'anti-penalty guarantee' if Hacienda fines you for an error in your invoices.

  • Infoautónomos

For autónomos it states 'we avoid penalties'; inspections are listed under its service for companies. It does not say whether formal requests are in the fee or who defends you in an inspection.

  • TaxDown

Hacienda requests are included on the Premium plan.

  • Taxfix (antes TaxScouts)

From Premium, 'your adviser answers requests for information'; on Total, the adviser 'handles every letter, request or inspection'. All packs advertise cover 'against penalties for errors in the service'.

  • Xolo

In its plan table, Hacienda requests are included on Premium, Global covers only those related to intra-Community VAT (ROI) and Local includes none; consultations with lawyers are a separate service.

  • Taxfix (antes TaxScouts)

Pro €39.90, Premium €59.90 and Total €99.90 a month + VAT, no minimum term. Pro covers 'one activity and a single VAT rate'; the adviser keeps your books from Premium (up to 200 invoices a quarter; no limit on Total).

  • Xolo

Local €39 (€45 with the income tax return), Global €59 (€65 with it) and Premium €99 with it, a month + VAT. The annual returns (180, 190, 390 and 347) are included if you stay 6 months (3 on Premium); deregistration is a separate service.

Cases outside the standard profile

  • Managora

We handle módulos (Modelo 131, as a single procedure) and, as plan add-ons, EU transactions, withholdings, rented premises, the VAT One-Stop Shop and employees. We do not handle IGIC in the Canary Islands, IPSI in Ceuta and Melilla or the quarterly returns filed with the Haciendas Forales.

  • Infoautónomos

Handles IGIC in the Canary Islands and, in the Basque Country and Navarre, 'we usually work with foral taxation' if the case fits; also payroll if you have employees.

  • TaxDown

Excludes the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, the Basque Country, Navarre and módulos; Standard also excludes selling on platforms such as Amazon or Etsy and more than two activities under different VAT regimes.

  • Managora

Modelo 036 and RETA registration in a single operation (from €180), with the reduced rate requested in the registration if you qualify. Before charging we ask whether your authorisation covers self-employment and, if you have no Seguridad Social number, we apply for it. The start date allows at least 7 days (3 if you already have a number), so that the registration is on time.

Tarifa plana extension and Cuota Cero

Whether it handles the second-year extension of the reduced rate and your region's Cuota Cero.

  • Managora

We apply for the second-year extension before it starts and file your region's Cuota Cero: we check the call is open before charging, work out your personal deadline and follow the file until payment.

At registration it checks whether the tarifa plana, the Cuota Cero or regional reductions apply; it does not say it later files the extension or the Cuota Cero.

  • Declarando

Applies reductions such as the tarifa plana at registration; it does not say it handles the second-year extension or the Cuota Cero.

  • Infoautónomos

Handles registration 'with every possible reduction'; it does not say it handles the extension or the Cuota Cero.

  • TaxDown

It does not say it handles the second-year extension of the tarifa plana or the Cuota Cero.

Support with 'grants, subsidies' appears in its plan table as 'coming soon'; it does not say it handles the extension or the Cuota Cero.

Single procedures without a subscription

Whether you can order just the registration, one quarterly return, the income tax return or the deregistration without taking a plan.

  • Managora

Each procedure has its own page with fixed fees (registration, 303, 130, 390, income tax return, deregistration, tarifa plana and Cuota Cero), without subscribing to the plan.

  • Taxfix (antes TaxScouts)

Its terms describe a separate 'Pack Alta', distinct from the monthly packs; it does not publish its price on its self-employed pages.

  • Xolo

To order an extra service 'you need an active plan'; deregistration costs €90 + VAT.

How we work

  1. 1

    Signing up and the mandate

You choose the registration, a single procedure or the self-employed plan and see the fixed fees before you pay; for each procedure you answer a short chat (about 6 minutes for the registration). You sign the mandate on screen, from your phone if you like, without going anywhere.

  2. 2

    Review of your case

A member of our team checks your start date, the reduced rate, your Seguridad Social number and, if you are a foreign national, that your authorisation covers self-employment. On the plan, they keep your record books from the documents you upload.

  3. 3

    Filing on your behalf

We file the Modelo 036 and the RETA registration in a single operation and, every quarter, Modelo 303 and 130: with the Agencia Tributaria as a colaborador social and with the Seguridad Social through the Sistema RED. On the plan, nothing is filed without your approval.

  4. 4

    Delivery and follow-up

Your case file, or your client area if you are on the plan, holds the filing receipts, the decisions and the invoice. On the plan, if the Agencia Tributaria requests anything about what we filed, the firm answers it.

Worth knowing

  • The plan and our quarterly-return services cover the Agencia Tributaria's forms: we do not handle IGIC in the Canary Islands, IPSI in Ceuta and Melilla or the quarterly returns of the Haciendas Forales of the Basque Country and Navarre.
  • Defence in a tax review, an inspection or penalty proceedings is not included in the plan fee: the firm handles it under a separate engagement with its own fixed quote in writing.
  • The initial registration is not part of the plan and is ordered separately, and the start date we set allows at least 7 days (3 if you already have a Seguridad Social number).
  • Returns for periods before your subscription are not included in the plan, and the income tax return leaves out income that requires documents unrelated to your business, such as rented properties, sales of assets or assets abroad: these are ordered separately.
  • If you are an EU citizen and will live in Spain for more than 3 months, your registration certificate is applied for in person within 3 months of arriving (we prepare the application); if you are not, registering as autónomo requires an authorisation that covers self-employment, which we also handle.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best gestoría for autónomos in Spain?

Managora, a law firm and gestoría, for anyone who wants a professional to handle everything: we register you with Hacienda and the Seguridad Social and file your quarterly and annual returns on your behalf, without asking for your digital certificate. On the plan, the firm answers formal requests about what we filed, and fees are fixed in writing before we start.

How much does the self-employed plan cost per month and what does it include?

The self-employed plan costs 99 € a month, VAT included, and the first 3 months are paid on signing up. It covers Modelo 303 and 130, Modelo 390, Modelo 347, the income tax return, the record books, changes to and deregistration of your activity and requests about what we filed, with up to 20 documents a month. EU transactions, withholdings, rented premises, the VAT One-Stop Shop and employees are add-ons, and the initial registration is ordered separately (from €180).

If I don't have a gestor, who files my quarterly returns?

We do, on your behalf: a member of our team prepares your Modelo 303 and 130 and we file them with the Agencia Tributaria as a colaborador social, under your signed mandate. On the plan nothing is filed without your approval; without the plan, each quarterly return can be ordered on its own (€99 for the 303 and €99 for the 130).

How long does registration take and when can I start invoicing?

The Agencia Tributaria records the registration on the day it is filed and the Seguridad Social grants it on the spot through the Sistema RED; you can invoice from the start date we agree with you. That date allows at least 7 days (3 if you already have a Seguridad Social number): it is the time the Tesorería needs to accept our representation and, if necessary, assign you a number.

Do I need a digital certificate or Cl@ve?

Not for us to file for you: with the Agencia Tributaria we act as a colaborador social under your signed mandate, and with the Seguridad Social through the Sistema RED as your representative. You sign the mandate on screen, from your phone if you like.

What happens if Hacienda sends me a formal request?

If it concerns a return we filed under the plan, the firm answers it within the fee, and a lawyer also reviews any requests, contracts and claims about your business that you send us, with written guidance. Without the plan, answering a request has its own service page (from €299). If a tax review, an inspection or penalty proceedings are opened, our tax lawyers defend you under a separate engagement with a fixed quote in writing.

Will you handle the tarifa plana and my region's Cuota Cero?

Yes. The reduced rate is requested in the registration itself if you have not been registered as autónomo in the previous 2 years (3 if you already had it), and if your net income will stay below the minimum wage (salario mínimo interprofesional, €17,094 in 2026) we apply for the second-year extension before it starts (€120). We file the Cuota Cero with your region (€180): we check the call is open before charging you, work out your personal deadline and follow the file until payment.

Is there a minimum term, and can I switch gestoría mid-year?

The first 3 months of the plan are paid on signing up; after that the fee is monthly and you can cancel whenever you like. You can start in any quarter: the quarters in which you are subscribed are covered, and the annual returns if you are subscribed for the whole year or since your activity began. Anything outstanding from earlier periods is ordered separately.

Do you also do my income tax return?

Yes: the income tax return (Modelo 100) is included in the plan if you are subscribed for the whole year or since your activity began; income that requires documents unrelated to your business, such as rented properties, sales of assets or assets abroad, is quoted separately. It can also be ordered on its own (€157). Before filing we send you the full calculation to review and confirm.

Can I register as autónomo as a foreign national?

Yes, with your NIE and, if you are not an EU citizen, an authorisation that covers self-employment: RETA registration requires it, we ask you about it before charging and, if you do not have it, we can handle it too. If you have never had a Seguridad Social number, we apply for it before registration, with a supplement you see before paying.
