Cuota Cero for the self-employed: your paid RETA contributions refunded

Cuota Cero for the self-employed: your paid RETA contributions refunded is filed with Consejería competente en empleo y trabajo autónomo de su comunidad autónoma. With Managora you do it 100% online: you answer a few questions, sign a digital mandato (power of representation) and we draft, sign and file your application for you. Estimated total cost: €50.

We handle the Cuota Cero of your Comunidad Autónoma, the grant that REFUNDS the self-employed contributions you already paid during your first year on the state flat rate. It is not the same as the flat rate: the flat rate cuts your bill to 80 €/month and is granted by the Seguridad Social; the Cuota Cero pays that money back to you and is granted by your region, so together your first year really does cost nothing. Every region has its own rules, its own amount and its own deadline, and that deadline is short and starts running once you complete your twelve months: one month in Aragón, two in Andalucía and Canarias, three in the Comunidad de Madrid. Thousands of these grants are lost simply by asking too late. We check whether your region has an open call BEFORE charging you anything, work out your exact window and file the application as your representative: you need neither a digital certificate nor Cl@ve.

The 2026 calls we have verified close on 3 September in Castilla y León, 30 September in Andalucía and Galicia, 15 October in Canarias and Región de Murcia, and 30 October in Aragón; the Comunidad de Madrid and Cantabria keep theirs permanently open.

Legal basis and things to bear in mind

  • Legal framework: art. 38 ter of Ley 20/2007 (state reduced contribution) + the regional rules of each Comunidad Autónoma, plus Ley 38/2003 on public grants. Verified on 14 August 2026 in the electronic office of every region.
  • Open calls verified: Comunidad de Madrid (Acuerdo of 23 December 2025, BOCM of 7 January 2026, permanently open), Cantabria (Decreto 43/2024, permanently open), Andalucía (Orden of 29 June 2023, until 30 September 2026), Galicia (Orden of 30 December 2025, TR341D, until 30 September 2026), Castilla y León (Tarifa 0, until 3 September 2026), Canarias (Resolución 3/2026, until 15 October 2026), Región de Murcia (Cuota Cero Ampliada, until 15 October 2026) and Aragón (Orden EMC/1877/2025, until 30 October 2026).
  • THE INDIVIDUAL WINDOW IS WHAT BITES: it runs from the day you complete your twelve months on the reduced contribution, not from the day the call opens. One month in Aragón, two in Andalucía and Canarias, three in the Comunidad de Madrid.
  • It does not replace the state flat rate: they add up. First the flat rate of 80 €/month from the Seguridad Social, and after twelve months the Cuota Cero of your region, which pays back what you spent.
  • The grant IS TAXABLE: it counts as income from your economic activity in the IRPF (personal income tax) of the year you receive it. We can include it in your tax return.
  • You need neither a digital certificate nor Cl@ve: we file as your representative under the authority you sign.
