  • You can renew from 60 days before your TIE expires and up to 90 days afterwards. Beyond those 90 days you can still renew, but a penalty could be imposed on you.
  • Your passport must still be valid: the new TIE cannot last longer than your passport. If your passport expires soon, renew it first so that the new card gets its full period of validity.
